Winter

In the Winter of life

I turn my face to the sun

And feel its warmth

On my skin

The breeze is gentle

And whispers of a world

Unknown

I sense infinity

Waiting on the edges

I feel the pull

But there is no rush

“Rest a while.”

My soul stills within me

As love takes my hand

And leads me on.
